During the permanent hair removal with the Alexandrite laser, the laser beams emit high-frequency light in a specific wavelength deep into the hair roots. The hair is thus removed in the long term. By converting the energy from the laser into heat, the hair follicles are destroyed. The hair eventually dies and falls out on its own. Hair growth is stopped because the formation of new hair roots is usually no longer possible. After a few days, the hair falls out on its own and does not grow back.
